She is wonderful and brings so many laughs to us each day. God definitely broke the mold with her. LOL!

I’m getting much better at taking portraits. It’s so much fun and can be pretty challenging with the kids. Jakob runs from the camera. Maddy will pose but she moves so much it’s sometimes hard to capture it without blur. I want to get out this year and practice landscapes. Now if only I could find the time!

I’m cracking up at the video! How fun to be a fly on the wall! She is such a great little girl. So full of life! It must be awesome (and probably exhausting at times) to be such a part of it. You are both very talented at portraits by the way.

It was very precious watching the kids and the glow that came about them when they got to talk with Santa. A little bit of holiday magic. What wasn’t magical was the price for the photo and the hassle we’re now dealing with to get the promised digital download. Next year I will make sure to visit Santa in a location where it is free for us to photograph him with the kids. This mall wouldn’t let you photograph from within Santa’s fence and had blocked any ability to get a direct shot. Talk about commercialized!

I should have been there. Everything sounds so mouth watering. You wrote, “Grandma Dottie has always said that life passes by quicker as you age.” Certainly holds true over here as well. I asked my dad about that when in his 80s and he said, “A year seems like what a month was like when I was a young man.” Maybe I’ll get to be a 100 in no time flat.
