Welcome to my world! I feel your pain and that's why I'm so happy I got snow shoes this Christmas. That powder stuff always makes us :cry: but it's good for sledding so it's not a total loss. I'm tired already with the slippery walk way and having to wait for some one to plow or not plow our drive way. Good thing we have a Subaru, otherwise I'd be wanting to move with my family in Cali by now. :shock: We have a long winter ahead I'm afraid, but did I mention I have SNOW SHOES! :mrgreen: HA! We all did. We were tired of cold wet feet. I think I am going to post some video later today of the big amounts of snow. Our snow almost finished melting and on Thursday night we ended up getting another 5-6 inches and then last night it snowed some more! Our hills are sliding and even the right lane on the highway here in Sandy fell down a hill. It's getting downright crazy around here. I am not able to work this weekend because there was a major mudslide that has closed the highway until Sunday night and the detour is an hour long and on a road that itself is high risk for sliding.I am already wearing my coconut body spray from bath & body and daydreaming of warm sunny days! :smile:P.S. We are so thankful for our Subaru too! It is an amazing vehicle in snow and ice. Josh says he thinks he will always own a Subaru now. I got snow shoes too this year! We all did. It has been over a week and there is even more snow than when I took the above photos. We have about 3 feet of snow and 5 foot drifts. We are over the snow event. It's snowing more today and expected to snow more tomorrow. UGgghhh!!! Fortunately, it is supposed to turn to plain old rain this weekend. I never thought I would be so happy to see rain.
