Halloween 2008
I just can’t believe I am going to wake up tomorrow morning and it is going to be November of 2008. It seems to me the more children you have the faster life flies by. Madison is already 6 months old and it has me baffled as to where the time has gone.
Tonight was one of the most wonderful Halloween evenings I have ever had. Jakob dressed as Darth Vader and was blessed with an oustanding light saber made by Yoda (Grandpa Lee). Maddy was a sweet little black kitty…that’s right…be careful if she crosses your path! The weather was perfect. The leaves were rustling along the road, the air smelled of the sweetness of autumn and Jakob is old enough now that he doesn’t want us to walk him to each and every door. In fact we often had to ask him to slow down and wait for us being as he was getting lost in the roaming swarms of children running to and fro guided by shouting parents. The most intelligent thing we did this year was to drive to a close well lit neighborhood unlike our own. The houses were beautifully decorated, the streets were well lit and full of dressed up children. I felt like I was an extra on the set of Hocus Pocus. Below I have posted just a few of the load of photos I have taken of our festivities this month. If you are interested in viewing any more of them you can take a look here
